Just close the door behind you. Ciel on her end is leaning against the edge of the table, arms crossed and calmly looking back at him. If he's got any magical sense, there's definitely a protective air about the room, almost as if it's trying to be cut off from the outside, in a sense. Pay no heed, since it has zilch hostility.]
What do you think, of what we were just discussing? A second opinion would be helpful, at times like these.
If there is something that belongs to the culprit, I can find them. A single hair, a button, a thread from their shirt; it doesn't matter. As long as it belongs to them, I can turn it into a creature that will return to its owner.
[...wow okay, so more OP than expected. her brows further a little, as she mulls the extra asset over.]
There might be more attempts in the future over innocents before we can do something about the perpetrator. Would you be willing to mitigate effort into protection over tracking, coming down to that?
[she hums quietly in assent, before closing her eyes and crossing her arms.
...
When she opens them again, her eyes are clear and focused. Unnaturally so, even. It's a test as well as a serious attempt, so... Here goes nothing!]
Understood. May I ask for your help, in that case, in protecting and assisting the populace?
[Answer with how you truly feel.
Him admitting he's more suited for defense already gave her doubts, but... eh. She doesn't particularly mind getting caught either, so let's see how this turns out.]
[To Giorno, there's nothing amiss. But to Gold Experience Requiem, who could move through erased time, there was effects. She showed herself temporarily, white instead of the gold Ciel was used to, to 'reset' reality. To make whatever had happened not actually happen.
But from Giorno's face, he didn't seem to notice a thing.]
You can. I don't mind doing what I can to assist others as long as they need it.
She sees it, of course, and while she's certain to have cast it properly, he did mention his abilities were defensive. He's looking straight back at her unflinchingly too, a first when mild disorientation/loose focus of at least some degree always happened to normal humans whose memories and/or actions she's had to manipulate. He's acting no differently either, too.
Hm...
Eh. It's taking a chance either way and she's aware of it, but knowing his personality, and if what he claims of his abilities are true...]
Then I'd like to formally request your aid - and your silence, to such an end. The causes to the recent troubles have been quiet and efficient; I believe we must act so as well to prevent further cases and retaliate. Would that be acceptable?
It'll depend on the topic, correct? Then please let me know your limits, if it may crop up under a specific situation. I'd like to trust you, your abilities would be a huge asset. But you've made the fact that you have outstanding abilities relatively well-known also, even if it lacks specifics.
The victim so far has been a human girl with no abilities whatsoever. If intelligent, I would think our thwarting force would avoid individuals with powers and target far easier ordinary humans instead. We may necessitate a bait, but with strict surveillance, they won't fall in harm's way. Would you strongly protest against that notion?
That's the plan, surveillance should be achievable with magical aid that I have. I've yet to think of how to obtain hard evidence like hair or clothing, but you can still help with protection of the weak and assistance of the injured, correct? Planning would be easier if we know every card playable at our disposal. Ideally, we may be able to set several things up.

I think someone is attempting to take advantage of the chaos. That's what bad people often do to further their goals.

It's highly probable, at this point. Have you thought about what we may be able to do, in that case?
no subject
Once he or she is found, of course.

That would mean determining who that is and tracking them down. Do you have any ability that may be conductive, to that end?
