That's the plan, surveillance should be achievable with magical aid that I have. I've yet to think of how to obtain hard evidence like hair or clothing, but you can still help with protection of the weak and assistance of the injured, correct? Planning would be easier if we know every card playable at our disposal. Ideally, we may be able to set several things up.
....yes. The things I give life to, whatever damage done to them is instead inflicted upon whoever is doing it. In short, anyone who hits anything I make with a killing intent will most likely be killed themselves.
[lowering her head, she extends a hand and sends a very weak jolt of electricity towards the frog - enough to make it jump at most, though given its size, maybe paralyze it momentarily too. She'd be able to feel it if was done to her, but it would do practically no damage. There is no killing intent either, given how the whole idea still surprises her more than just a bit. Still... that's what he asked, right?]
It can be animals or plants. The effect is selective, though. I can make it happen or make it not happen based on how I give the object life. So it can work for anyone if I want it to.
That's very helpful to know, thank you for clarifying. If I may ask, how would you determine whom you may wish to give something like this to? Additionally, can it do anything against more subtle ways of harm, such as breathing or ingesting lethal gasses or substances, like food or water?
I determine that based on my own personal opinion. As for your second question, I don't think so. Personal experience with similar things don't leave me convinced that it's possible.
That's fine. While very useful, that sort of defensive measure shouldn't be given away freely. Would the effects remain, if you give it to someone who then passes it on to someone else?
Fair enough. That said, have you any thoughts about the sort of people most likely to be targeted again, shall there be a similar repeat of what's happened?

...I suppose not. However, they may strike again. Supplies can be replenished with a few trips to Haven North, but we should split it at different locations this time, perhaps keep the knowledge to a select few who can defend themselves to stay on the safe aside as well. Aside from that, if the risks of a second strike coming soon may be low due to recent chaos, the best that we can do would be to warn that people stay in groups and don't err anywhere on their own. What would your thoughts be?
[some things might be a little extreme, but it's worth throwing that out there!]
Do it subtlety. If you openly tell people there is a threat, then the enemy will step up their timetable. While it might cause them to make a fatal mistake, it could also result in the death of more people than normal.

That can be remarkably useful. Can you please give an example?

Do something to it. However, I suggest you don't do something that would be fatal.

By which means, the frog sits there unbothered while whatever it felt would be done to Ciel instead.]

she stiffens a little, but lets the current wash over before it fades.
but okay COOL, new card in deck. Time to read the descriptions thoroughly to determine how to play it best...]
Does it have to be an animal, and does this effect only apply to you?

A repeat performance is probably more likely.
