Fair enough. That said, have you any thoughts about the sort of people most likely to be targeted again, shall there be a similar repeat of what's happened?

[get out]

So someone normal without powers, possibly well-liked by many others?

Do you have any potential targets for the saboteurs in mind?

[??????

wow so much trash talking in brackets wow

COME SAY IT TO MY FACE AND NOT BEHIND A COMPUTER SCREEN

meanwhile ciel will be flipping out her phone and perusing through the contact list with a small frown.]

...I suppose not. However, they may strike again. Supplies can be replenished with a few trips to Haven North, but we should split it at different locations this time, perhaps keep the knowledge to a select few who can defend themselves to stay on the safe aside as well. Aside from that, if the risks of a second strike coming soon may be low due to recent chaos, the best that we can do would be to warn that people stay in groups and don't err anywhere on their own. What would your thoughts be?

[some things might be a little extreme, but it's worth throwing that out there!]

[you're trash typing in brackets tho]

Of course, but the monsters already roaming openly is a public threat that would warrant the same advice. Besides, if there was a sure way to spur them into action, then all we need to do is lay down a suitable trap and let them come to us. There are different ways.

[not specifying, but she's thinking...]

Start collecting supplies again and let it be publicly known, perhaps, but put the area under heavy magical and normal surveillance.

[a trap requires a bait, after all.]

We don't know the exact priority of the saboteurs, whether or not they want to cause more chaos above diminishing resources. While I do agree with you if they're any smart, our options for baiting are limited nonetheless.

yeah she'll keep the idea of a human bait at hand.]

It depends on their objective, ultimately, and how they'll choose to act accordingly. With the darkness and monsters here, it's easy to take advantage of the confusion, but with a different set of circumstances...

[chinhands for a brief moment...]

It may be best to wait and see for now, as much as I would like to at least establish some defensive measures for the innocent.
